An exciting new Production Operative opportunity

As a Digital Print Production Operative, you will be a key member of our production department, responsible for running multiple digital wallpaper printers and various finishing machines.

You will perform maintenance on the printers, check the quality of the output and resolve any technical problems.

All training required to operate the machines is provided, but having good computer skills and being willing to work hands-on is essential for this role.

A keen eye for art and design will also help you in this role.

You will be working closely with the Digital Print Production Manager in ensuring good output from our machines, coming up with new ideas, and delivering high quality wallcoverings to our customers.

Main duties and responsibilities

Operate the digital print machines and print required jobs via the print queue.
Perform necessary quality checks on output, ensuring the wallcoverings meets the required expectations.
Perform regular maintenance on the printers and other machines in the production department on a regular basis.
Liaise with support engineers and third parties to resolve any major issues.
Work effectively with other departments, managing incoming artwork and ensuring its suitability for finished wallcoverings.
Use the finishing machines to ensure the goods are ready for sale.
