Are you an experienced Motor Mechanic keen to share your skills and knowledge with others? If so, this could be the role for you


Here at Carshalton College, we are looking for a Lecturer to teach and assess on a range of Motor Vehicle courses.

You will act as a tutor for a group or groups of students and take responsibility for monitoring progress and developing individual learning plans.


About You

  • A fully qualified Motor Mechanic with a Level 3 qualification as a minimum.
  • Experience of working in the Motor Vehicle industry.
  • Experience of teaching and assessing Motor Vehicle practices in a teaching and learning environment or in the workplace.
  • Experience of providing effective support to students or other individuals.
  • Demonstrable ability to teach at a level appropriate to the students and in a way that recognises their different learning abilities.
