Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join us as Operational Coordinator for the Medicine Division at Ipswich Hospital to cover a Maternity Leave placement for a period of 9 months.

This is a fixed term position starting in January 2023.


As an Operational Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a number of key operational aspects including waiting list management (RTT) Cancer waiting lists, rota management and management of our administrative colleagues.


You will:


  • Work with an engaged team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a fast pace, challenging environment
  • Develop your operational and management skills in a supportive and innovative atmosphere, including bed management and business management.
  • Have the opportunity to play a major role in the continuing development of service delivery for the benefit of our patients
Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only

Take full responsibility for the day to day line management of administrative teams within their Clinical Delivery Group.


Be responsible for providing Leadership to the administrative teams and ensuring that a high quality comprehensive administrative service is delivered.

Be accountable for monitoring, assessing and reporting on performance within defined service areas.
