Description

We provide specialist care for people who have an incurable, life limiting illness in our 13 bedroom ward which is located in Pontefract just minutes from Junction 32 of M62.

We also offer outreach services and run a successful Lymphoedema clinic for patients.


We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated, compassionate Nursing Associates, who are on the NMC register and with a Foundation Degree, to join our dynamic Incare team.

You will work in partnership with our Registered Nurses to provide the highest possible standard of palliative and end of life care to our patients.

You will be able to support patients and their families to improve and maintain their mental, physical health and wellbeing, as well as ensuring that their personal and social needs at met.


If you have a passion for palliative and end of life care, have excellent communication skills and wish to develop your career with us this may be the role you are looking for.


You will be expected to exercise a high level of autonomy and make clinical judgements using your knowledge and skills in order to provide a high standard of holistic patient care, developing and practising in line with the Hospice's Vision and Values.


You will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills and be able to demonstrate confident decision making whilst maintaining and developing service quality by supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Successful applicants will join our Hospice pension scheme (where eligible), will enjoy 27 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per year (pro rata) and will also be entitled to the following benefits:
