Financial Accountant


Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions are proud to be working with a prestigious, highly respected bank as they seek to build out their finance team with the addition of a Financial Accountant in London.

This role will provide the opportunity to get involved in exciting work in which you will play a role in developing the corporate strategy and developing the bank's financial position and reputation as well as designing and implementing new financial systemsas they undergo a revamp of these


Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Completion of daily/weekly profit and loss reports for assigned portfolios and working with front office to resolve any issues
  • Producing reporting and management information for portfolios, including posting month end adjustments, completing/reviewing reconciliations, and completing analytical reviews of movements and providing commentary
  • Preparation of forecasts and budgets
  • Contribute to the production of the annual report and accounts
  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Good experience in financial reporting (IFRS) and financial control
  • Good IT skills, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn new systems
  • Strong IFRS technical knowledge, including financial instruments
  • Knowledge of financial risk management
