My Client are one of the Uk's leading Wealth Management firms and due to internal promotion they seek a Financial Planning Administrator to join their team in either Bristol or Cheltenham, In return they can offer competitive reward package and learningand development tailored to your needs.

The role can offer hybrid or office based working, with a maximum 2 days at home.

About this opportunity:

Within this role you will Assist with the day-to-day administration for the team, and provide support to senior colleagues dealing with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the team.


Responsibilities Include:

General administration to include:

  • Communicating with Financial Advisers and clients
  • Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments
  • Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions
  • Sending authority letters to third party providers
  • Calling third party providers for valuations or obtaining this online
  • Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts
  • Tracking payments made by clients
  • Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems
  • General record keeping and electronic filing
  • Adhering to Conduct Risk standards

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Willing to work to obtain qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Previous administration experience is essential additional training will be provided.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred.
  • Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks.
  • Clear and concise communication skills oral and written, with ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Takes accountability for own work, with ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales
  • Able to prioritise workload and identify when they need support to achieve goals.
  • Flexible and reliable team member and willing to support more junior and senior members of the team as required
  • Ability to work on own initiative to achieve required results
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach to work
  • Adapts to change quickly and easily
