£40,931 per annum

Full-time, 37 hours per week (1.0FTE)

We have an exciting opportunity to join Writtle University College within the Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing function to help us achieve our ambitious targets, we are seeking an experienced individual to lead and manage our student recruitment andmarketing team, who can demonstrate success in developing innovate strategies and delivering outstanding results.


This is an opportunity for you to make a significant contribution to the future success of our University College which has had its roots in the local area since 1893.

You will play a pivotal creative and proactive role as part of the wider Admissions, StudentRecruitment and Marketing function and work collaboratively to deliver the targets for both Higher and Further Education student recruitment both home and Internationally.


Leading the Student Recruitment and Marketing team, you will promote and raise awareness of WUC through creation and implementation of engaging marketing strategy and campaign plans that maximise awareness of the University College, regionally, nationallyand globally.

You will do this through a data and insight driven approach that delivers exceptional results and value for money from the Recruitment and Marketing budget.


In addition, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing our marketing conversion and outreach activity programme which include developing, planning and leading on the execution of key initiates for driving conversion and increasing participationin higher education.

You will be working with school and other partners to drive awareness of the WUC brand to both prospective students and key stakeholders.


The role holder will lead the team to plan and deliver a programme of recruitment events to increase conversion, through applicant open and experience days as well as brand building community events and supporting the wider university college as necessary.

This role necessitates some evening and weekend working. It is primarily office based but at times will involve travelling as required.
