Description

• At least 3 years' experience in a Senior/Leadership or management role in a nursery environment.
• Have suitable experience working with under fives.
• Indepth working knowledge and experience of working with all children and families and safeguarding practice.
• Have some knowledge/Experience of budgeting.
• Have experience and an indepth knowledge of occupancy, ratio management and deployment of staff.
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and welfare requirements.
• Experience of tracking the development of individual and cohorts of children including the evaluation of this.
• Experience in the creation and implementation of high quality, differentiated planning for individual and groups of children.
• Experience of being a key person for a group of children, by observing, monitoring and accurately recording each child's up to date individual development and achievements in their learning journey.
• Ability to communicate with all Nursery Directors effectively at all levels
• Experience of effective supervision and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and
• Experience of carrying out moderation, coaching, evaluation and selfreflection processes.
• Be able to make effective decisions about our developing nursery.
• To work as safe guard person in the nursery
• Organise and oversee planning for 2 to 5 year olds
• Working closely with the Nursery Manager and deputising in their absence
• Working closely with the Nursery Manager to manage and organise the Nursery
• Supervise staff members
