Civils/Pipelayer/Groundworker (Gang) - Water

Company Overview/Objective:

R&R Groundwork Services Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced civils gang to provide support to a key client within the water sector (repair & maintenance), general job details include:

Start Date: 21/08/2023 onwards

Rates (Subcontract/Self Employed): £ per day gang split (dependant on experience/tickets)
Duration: Temporary or Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours (7.30am-4pm)

Annual bonuses
Overtime available
Weekend working available
Small Plant/Small Tools/Vehicles/Fuel Cards to be provided, rates can be negotiated for use of own tools/vehicles etc relative to Subcontract/Self Employed only

Key Accountabilities:

Carry out general civils work and various tasks relative to the water sector (repair & maintenance), as directed by the Construction Manager/Site Supervisor, including but not limited to:

Preparing site compounds
Installation/Repair of mains pipes
Installation/Repair of water supply pipes, stop taps, fire hydrants, valves
Installation/Repair of chambers/tobys
Concreting foundations/general concreting
Laying ducts
Laying kerbs
Flags and block paving
Fencing
Small Landscaping
Compiling site documentation using electronic tablet
Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
Work independently as well as part of a team
Liaison with customers

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years civils experience
Preferred

Pipelaying/Drainage experience

Essential
A valid UK driving licence

In date CSCS card
Essential
Confined Spaces (Medium Risk)
Preferred
CPCS/NPORS (360 below 10 tonne, above 10 tonne advantageous)
