Job Summary:


The Rental Coordinator will be based at our Trane UK Limited Basingstoke office and will report directly to the Assistant Rental Operations Manager.

Responsible for coordinating hire processes and technician schedules The Rental Coordinator will develop and maintain customer relationships and maximise business opportunities.

Must be extremely organised and the ability to manage own workload but that of our engineers and technicians in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle Rental Extras
  • parts that are needed over and above the original shipment to site.
  • Handle Equipment Rental Exchanges equipment swap outs, including arrangement of transport to and from site, technicians, liaising with the depot and delivering the required communication with the customer.
  • Handle Breakdown delivery ensure all breakdowns are attended in timely manner meeting the specific customer SLA.
  • Organise/schedule all work in progress/outstanding calls in a timely manner.
  • Keep customers and technicians informed of progress/any changes to prearranged plans.
  • Be flexible in approach when dealing with on demand call outs working with Regional Service Manager as required to deliver a seamless service.
  • Correctly prioritise works to suit workload.
  • Ensure technician system work orders / calls remains up to date.
  • Order parts from suppliers when given specific information from technicians.
  • Answer customer queries/complaints relating to service calls and technician visits.
  • Maintain database, accurately updating information.
  • Become familiar with specific customer requirements and maintain existing/new relationships.
In addition to these duties employees are required to carry out such other tasks as may be required
