About the job:

The Letting Negotiator is a sales-type function, and is crucially important as a representative of the business overall, as well as main point of contact for all new Applicants and Tenants.

The core function of a Letting Negotiator is to conduct viewings with prospective Tenants, and manage the Application process through from start to finish, keeping both the Applicant and Landlord appraised at all times.

Around half of your time will be spent out of the office on viewings or check-ins, and the other half will be spent in the office, keeping our Landlords and Tenants up to date.

Working hours:

The working hours will be 9.00am to 5.00pm, however overtime my be available when it is necessary to accommodate early/late viewings are requested by viewers.

Our systems are set up so that you can work from home, however you will be primarily working from the office.

You will be expected to carry out in-person viewings for every property, so this is not a "remote working" job.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated people-person to join our team with an immediate start.

A clean driving licence and driving history is essential. You will be asked to use the company vehicle for appointments, so your own car is not necessary.

We cover a large area, from Ulverston, Barrow, Dalton, Broughton, Coniston, Kendal and anywhere in between, therefore thorough local knowledge is very important.

On the job training will be given, however we would prefer applicants to have some relevant experience in property letting or another similar sales/customer service position.

Applicants must be knowledgeable on general household matters, and you will be expected to give a practical demonstration to Tenants when doing a Check Ins, including how to use the boiler, how to use the water stopcock etc.

Often you will be handling confidential information, so discretion and professionalism is incredibly important.
