Minimum of circa £54,947 per annum (dependent on skills and experience) & Company vehicle
Permanent & Full time, 37 hours per week
Covering the Anglian Water region, whilst managing a small team based in Lincoln, Norwich and Cambridge
Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you with hybrid working and the ability to manage your own diary, with an average of 2 -3 days a week in the office as required.
The role is based across the Anglian Water region, with your teambased at our offices in Lincoln, Norwich and Cambridge.

Here at Anglian Water, we are recruiting for a Recycling & Environmental Compliance Manager, within the Circular Economy team, which is responsible for managing and promoting a circular economy approach to the management of waste across the business.
Thisis a business-critical role, managing a small team responsible for ensuring a compliant and cost-effective recycling & disposal operation for waste and products created as a result of sewage sludge and water treatment operations.
Alongside this, you will also manage and continually develop an effective quality & environmental management system to cover the full scope of the team's activities.
You will ensure effective systems are in place to allow accurate reporting of informationconcerning the teams' activities, which is required to meet; environmental regulation, economic regulation and corporate requirements.
You will play a pivotal role in the business and will provide active advice and support to Anglian Water operational teams regarding waste compliance.
You will also manage the provision of data and information in response to queries regarding the company's compliance with Environmental Regulation, or Economic Regulatory reporting, with respect to the teams' activities.

What does it take to be a Recycling & Environmental Compliance Manager?
- Experience of working within the waste recycling industry, in an operational &/or compliance management role
- Educated to degree standard or HNC in Environmental Science or similar discipline, desirable but not essential.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of biosolids or organic waste haulage, storage and recycling to agricultural land is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and coach a team.
- Formal qualification in quality & environmental systems/auditing is desirable
- Ability to adapt communication style (both written and verbal) to suit a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate the ability to constructively challenge and seek opportunities for continual improvement
- Ability to work strategically by planning in 5 year periods and manage own workload

We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning it to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets.
