Over-view of the Quality Inspector
2fawcett are recruiting for a Quality Inspector based in Chesterfield.

This is an exciting role to be part of a great working team whilst they've had an increase in work.

You will be working closely with the Senior Quality Engineer and development design team to ensure orders are executed to the required quality specifications and requirements.

You will have prior Quality engineer experience and have knowledge of measuring/inspection equipment.

We are also looking for a Quality Engineer who can 'think outside the box' and take initiative to solve issues as and when they arise.

Requirements of the Quality Inspector:

Responsible for company measuring / inspection equipment. maintain register of equipment and ensure calibrations are current
Ensure supplier measuring / inspection equipment is appropriate and methodology meets company requirements
Create and maintain A suite of standard inspection reports for common parts for issue to suppliers where applicable
Collect and record data from inspections accurately and efficiently.
Identify and document any nonconforming products or components.
Responsibility for maintaining supplier matrix showing products and costs from each company used by the client.
Check PORs to suppliers ensuring all relevant information is provided in the PO documentation
Work with colleagues to ensure completion of departmental targets for business improvement initiatives
