Description
Second Chance Housing is looking to appoint an experienced Housing Support Worker to join their team. Second Chance Housing We are a housing association with satellite accommodations around Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale and Heywood.We have been running for the last 10 years to support and help service users find a place to live and begin their rehabilitated life with our person-centred approach.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Housing Support Worker, you'll need to:
- Conduct weekly telephone support sessions.
- Conduct weekly facetoface support sessions.
- Collecting service charge payments.
- To support service users to find long term accommodation.
- Signpost service users to gain the required help and or support.
- To manage nuisance, collect information and refer cases to senior management.
- To encourage and support service users by attending regular meetings as required.
- To implement housing legislation.
- To maintain records and write reports.
- Provide support when required over the phone.
- To liaise with The National Probation Service and other professionals.
- To provide support with benefits such as Universal Credit and PIP.

Salary:
£18,000.00-£21,450.00 per year
