Join our team at our Flight Training School in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

With currently seven multi-engine aircraft on site and busy Flight Training operations across other European locations, you will be working in a varied and fast-paced position as
Programme Administrator.



The role we are offering you


In this position you will be working across different locations within Europe being a key point of contact for our cadet training programmes.

You will be working with Airline customers, students, Flight Instructors and internal colleagues (Operations, Customer Services).


Responsibilities

  • Drive overall programme direction according to established contractual obligations and business objectives, ensuring that programme requirements are met and are in the best interests of CAE.
  • Acts as a consultant to management on specific programmes or overall programme management. Establishes goals and objectives required to complete programmes.
  • Facilitate integrated programme schedules from ground instruction to flight instruction in coordination with the other programmes that are in training, addressing critical issues on the programme and lead the team to develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Participate in programme planning efforts; directing all phases of programmes throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to the programme's customer, responding to requests and delivering excellent customer service.
  • To be the key presenter and facilitator at major programme reviews, ensuring meeting actions are documented and communicated.
  • Maintain a professional and technical/product knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical/specialty publications, and/or participating in professional associations.
  • Shares specialized knowledge with others and serves as a resource or expert on programme management principles and practices.


We are looking for a self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, customer focused, goal and results driven individual with an understanding of or a keen interest in the aviation industry.

You bring first experience in managing projects in a structured environment and you enjoy working with different cultures being a highly organized person coordinating various activities relating to equipment, training and logistics.

You are someone who enjoys seeking answers and filling gaps when information is incomplete.

In this new position you will be supporting and working closely with the local Project/Programme Manager.

You will be given the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required to manage your own training programme independently in the future or to cross-train across different functions.


Location


You will be based at our Flight Training School in Kidlington and can also work from our Training Centre in Gatwick, West Sussex if preferred.

We operate a hybrid working approach with the opportunity to work from home.

You will be working in a modern office environment with good public transport links and an airport restaurant and free parking on site.

Your role will involve some (but not frequent) national and occasional international travel and you will receive an air side pass.
