Our client, is one of the world's strongest banks and has been rated top for customer satisfaction for the fourteenth year running They are seeking a Branch Communications Officer to join an dedicated team of 11 and you will be responsible for managing internal, external and brand communications across the branch network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting branches and districts in achieving their business goals through effective and targeted communication and marketing (internally and externally) Liaise with the district heads and the wider Communications team to deliver quality, joined up and cohesive communications to the branches Working closely with the other Branch Communications Officer to share best practice where appropriate Guide district and branch colleagues on internal and external communications principles and processes, e.g. correct and effective use of comms channels Helping branches tell the business story in their local communities and raise awareness of the Bank's unique model and values Liaise with External Communications on providing branch social media training and supporting branches in utilising this platform as a means of engagement and business development Identify and coordinate templates or bespoke solutions to branch marketing requirements in a timely fashion. Assist branches in ordering promotional goods and generic marketing items. Coordinate production of branch photo portfolios. Ensuring that all marketing solutions offered and delivered are fully in line with the brand and UK brief and guidelines. Ensure accuracy and presentation excellence in all outputs and materials, delivering consistent, accurate and branchfluent documentation, digital resources and other requirements for internal and external sources. Monitoring daily press cuttings to identify positioning issues / reputational risk; highlight as appropriate Ensuring financial promotions compliance review and signoff Maintaining branch specific website pages and image libraries Drafting local press releases and writing UK relevant branch stories to be shared internally or externally if appropriate Assist with the production and delivery of the quarterly customer enewsletter, encouraging branch subscription where appropriate
  • Additional key deliverables will be considered/ discussed in employee development conversations with the line manager
  • Operates in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including subframeworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.

Role Requirements:


  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into easily digestible communications AM/AD level or similar level in house in financial services/ professional services/ corporate communications Creative and able to think in innovative ways Well organised and able to respond well under pressure and meet deadlines Impeccable attention to detail to ensure communications are accurate, relevant and without errors Understands the needs and requirements of the districts and the branches, responds promptly and ensures the customer is at the forefront of their thinking Able to understand and accept the requirement for sensitivity/confidentiality when handling information Confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and adept at building relationships Copes well with change, internally within the business and externally within the market Efficient and reliable
