We are working in partnership with a
'Good'Specialist School
near Lancasterwho are ideally looking for a
Full Time SEND Teacher.The role would be working as a
SEND Teacher in the Secondary area of the school after February Half Term it is on an ongoing vacancy covering a sickness in school.

The school supports pupils and families from Age 3-16 years of age and prides themselves on their
responsive community where all who enter feel welcomed and valued, whatever their role.

The school endeavors to provide a rich and varied environmentwhich offers opportunities for youngsters and adults to fulfill their potential.

You will be supported within the classroom with a team of
Teaching Assistants who support pupils within the class on a one to one or two to one basis.

The school are looking for the following attributes from the applicant;

Knowledge within a SEND environment this could be personal experience, social care or Education
Experience or passionate in supporting pupils with additional needs
Qualified Teacher status welcome applicants from ECTs and experienced Teachers
Proactive to the needs of the pupils within the setting
Fully involved in the activities of the pupils and taking their lead
Tenacious and resilient to changes throughout the sessions
