We are currently seeking a Stock Collector (van driver) to join the Retail Support team to aid in logístical support for our stores.
Our Stock Collector (van driver) role offers logical support to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
Reporting directly to the Stock Partnership Manager, the Stock Collector will have the autonomy to support the stores and warehouse with daily collections, deliveries and stock generation activity.
What you'll need to be successful:
You will be passionate about driving and retail, have a pro-active 'can-do' attitude and will be comfortable to work alongside retail teams and volunteers to drive stock production.
You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a high level of customer service to engage with customer and supporter and enjoy meeting new people.
You will need to adapt your style of communication to suit the audience in front of you for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be committed to ensuring that your service area is as productive as possible and feedback any recommendations to improve service levels, increase income and reduce costs.
A good sense of humour is always welcome along with the resilience to enable you to reach out to successfully to meet the objectives for your department, you will be supported by a compassionate people first team with a broad range of retail experience that will support you with your career development.

It costs over £12 million every year to provide services free of charge to families across Wolverhampton, the Black Country, South Staffordshire, and East Shropshire.
Compton receives approximately one third of this funding from the government with the rest sourced through various income generation activities including charity shops, fundraising events, a Compton lottery and various of other appeals and campaigns.
