- This is an exciting opportunity within Outpatient Services, Ambulatory Care Division based at the NHS Treatment Centre for Front Of House
- Main reception and Switchboard. The Receptionists core working hours are Monday to Friday between 7am 7pm with the occasional Saturday on a rolling rota basis. You will have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing a first class service.
- You must be educated to GCSE standard, possess excellent communication skills and be competent in the use of computers systems including Microsoft packages and Medway PAS.

Working as part of the Outpatient team you will be responsible for greeting all patients and visitors into the Treatment Centre building, dealing with all enquiries while maintaining patient confidentiality.
This role requires an awareness of the needs of staff, patients and the public and the ability to respond in a pleasant and professional manner at all times.
Undertake duties relating to the patients' car park, working in an outside environment, sometimes in inclement weather, assisting patients and visitors as they arrive at the Treatment centre.
To be able to fulfil the delivery of medical notes/thin files from the Treatment centre to relevant departments within QMC and Leengate.
Dealing with calls through the Treatment centre main switchboard. Using Medway PAS, and other relevant booking systems relating to the job role, accurately and efficiently. You'll have excellent communication skills and will deal appropriately with enquires both by telephone and in person.

Essential criteria
- To be educated to 'O' level, GCSE or equivalent
- Experience of Microsoft packages
- To possess 5 GCSE A-C passes or equivalent
