We are seeking a qualified, skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team, Monday to Friday 06:30-15:30 or 07:00-16:00.

As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our customers fleet of vehicles. This is a hands-on position that requires good mechanical & technical skills and the ability to work independently.

You will work between 2 sites, carrying out defect clinic and small onsite repairs in the morning then all maintenance, mot prep, pmi's and repairs at our workshop for the remainder of your shift.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of vehicles
• Complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Proven experience as a mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of equipment repair, including engines, transmissions, and diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.

Salary:
£36,500.00-£42,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Automotive repair: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
