Description
The Role:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and develop software solutions that integrate with existing systems and technologies.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in testing activities to ensure software quality and accuracy.
- Provide technical support to customers and troubleshoot any software issues that arise.
- Conduct research and stay uptodate with emerging technologies and trends in the field of solar energy and software development.
- Participate in the design and development of new features and functionalities for our software.
- Write and maintain detailed documentation for software code, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure software solutions are designed with security and data privacy in mind, and meet relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Communicate with project managers, stakeholders, and customers to understand requirements, provide status updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve and refine the software development process, ensuring the delivery of high quality and efficient software solutions.
Required Experience:
- The software developer should be skilled in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
- The developer should have experience in building cloudbased software solutions, as our software is cloudbased and needs to be highly scalable and efficient.
- The developer should be familiar with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases, to enable the efficient collection, storage, and analysis of solar energy data.
- The software developer should have experience in developing software for IoT and embedded systems, as our software is designed to interface with various sensors and monitoring devices.
- The developer should have excellent problemsolving skills, as they will need to identify and resolve issues related to the software and ensure its smooth functioning.
- The software developer should have experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science.
- Ideally experience in the Solar Sector.
- Experience within a similar role
