Transformation Project Manager
Hybrid Pattern of Working - travel into London or Peterborough once every 2 weeks
3-6 Month Contract

Business Transformation is establishing enterprise-wide strategic alignment, with a vision to redefine new ways of working by encouraging agility, transparency and ownership to anchor transformation.
With this in mind, Project Delivery will play a pivotal role in challenging the status quo and enabling the successful delivery of transformative initiatives.
We seek a Project Manager to join our Transformation Management Office (TMO) to lead and manage the execution of one or more key transformation initiatives, including: Operating Model, Process Re-engineering, Enterprise Data and Business Systems.
In this role you will act as a Project Manager within the Transformation Management Office enabling project delivery in collaboration with our broad and ambitious Business Transformation team.
- Use creative and effective approaches to drive projects forward with an emphasis on supporting the teams through changes and achieving the best outcomes
- Coach, encourage and hold people to account for delivering their responsibilities within projects
- Carry out 'change impact assessments', plan and implement project change initiatives across the project portfolio
- Use experience gained within a business analysis context to understand 'asis' processes for the purposes of documenting and reengineering processes
- Facilitate workshops and planning sessions with a variety of stakeholders
- Develop a range of business analysis and project management documentation to help stakeholders on their transformation journey
- Develop, maintain and drive project plans and prepare regular reporting on projects
- Monitor and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies whilst escalating as required
- Ensure Project Delivery governance is followed and help to define/optimise delivery standards and processes
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across team
- Write compelling business cases to support specific transformation projects
- Actively contribute to developing a positive culture of continuous improvement across the organisation
Knowledge and Experience
- 5+ years in a Project Management role
- Strong experience in leading change management initiatives
- Good working knowledge in a range of business analysis techniques and methodologies including process mapping and analysis, service design and facilitation of meetings and workshops.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, processes, tools and industry best practices
- Experience in leveraging tools to enable project management, issue tracking and reporting
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms to stakeholders as required
- Excellent at managing upwards and outwards, with the ability to bring stakeholders 'on the journey'
- Working experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent planning and task management skills
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops and program planning sessions
- Experienced in key areas of business analysis including requirements elicitation, situation analysis, use case development, process mapping, process evaluation, benefits mapping etc
- Experience of working with business stakeholders across multiple businesses, markets and support functions
