Our client is looking for a Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join their busy in-house legal department. This is a varied and interesting role involving drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements. The position offersa genuine opportunity for an ambitious, hard-working self-starter to push their career forward.

Based near to Manchester City Centre this company has a hybrid working policy preferring employees to be in 2-3 days in the office per week.

Have a background in drafting and negotiating a wide range of different commercial contracts and agreements
Assist the business with range of other legal matters relating to corporate, compliance, data protection (GDPR) and other project work
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commercial / business outlook to their work

You will need to be hungry and ambitious and keen to push your career forward in what is an interesting industry sector.

Previous In-house experience would be preferred.

The client would consider a private practice lawyer, who has trained in a good firm, looking to move in-house who could point to good business and commercial skills.
