We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Family/Systemic Therapist to join a thriving team of therapists and psychologists within a multi-disciplinary Adult Eating Disorders Service.

This is a newly created post which will enable you to use your clinical skills and develop your ideas to shape our compassionate service.

We provide a county wide service from an office base in Truro.

Clinical/professional development is accorded high priority and the post combines clinical work with the possibility of research and teaching. We take pride in our contribution to the development of the evidence base for eating disorders.


Main duties of the job:


The team have presented a wide range of workshops at the international conference over many years and have published a number of articles.


To provide a professionally autonomous, high quality, evidence-based systemic assessment and psychotherapy service to adults, carers and their families within the Adult Eating Disorders service.

To provide highly specialist systemic advice and consultation regarding formulations and treatment to NHS colleagues and external agencies.

To take some responsibility for supervision of trainees, particularly systemic therapists up to Masters' qualifying level.


To contribute to the CPD training and development of other Cornwall Partnership Trust professionals as agreed with the Service Lead.

To develop, implement and audit services for adults and their families and to initiate and participate in future servi
