Senior Management Accountant C&I


Purpose of role
Production of financial results for Food Co on a monthly basis. Main focus being the completion of contract accounts for operations. Completion of specified balance sheet areas with actions taken on all outstanding items. Supporting the sales ledger processto ensure accurate and timely data is provided for client bills. Adhoc projects including assistance in the production of contract budgets.


Main Duties:


  • Contract account reviews and result production
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Processing of accruals and prepayments as informed by operational teams in line with financial process and principles
  • Building relationships with other finance team members
  • Support in collation of sector results as contracts are completed
  • Support sales ledger team with income allocation and billing details when required
  • Responding to audit requests for annua audit

Relevant experience in accounts

Management account production and balance sheet reconciliations

Ability to plan and prioritise workload using appropriate tools

Highly analytical

Detail driven on balance sheet data and P&L results clearly demonstrated

Shows initiative to correct errors found from analysis

Strong IT skills

Demonstrates skills in using excel and understating of more advanced use through knowledge of formulas and use of pivot tables

Advanced Excel course completion

Flexible working

Understands accounting timetables and planning of hours required for month end
