This Global Entertainment group is a household name and leader in its field operating across the globe and continuing to experience exponential growth in their international and domestic markets.
As a result of this they are now hiring an FP&A Manager to take responsibility for financial planning and analysis including budgets, monthly forecasts and detailed financial analysis for their UK businesses.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working closely with key business leaders and finance managers on all FP&A related matters incorporating annual budgets, monthly reforecasting, long term financial and strategic planning
- To provide high quality management information to senior leadership to assist in business decisions and management
- Assist in supporting the business strategy and provide financial data and analysis that will guide decisions and will ensure that the businesses are supported by sound operational and financial information
- To compile and review all financial performance management information across the UK businesses
- Review & analyse monthly management reporting packs, forecast submissions including commentary and key performance indicators as required
- Ensure regular meetings are held with the heads of departments and senior leadership team to communicate accurate and timely financial results, understand financial risks and provide ad hoc analysis
- Support all key business stakeholders on commercial and business performance analysis by owning and developing management analysis, KPIs and other relevant information.
- Maintain and improve reporting systems and processes, including automation and extensive use of BI tools to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Adhoc project & analysis work as directed by the FD
Required Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant PQE experience in the events, media, hospitality or retail sector
- Proven background in FP&A and delivering the budgeting & planning process in a fastpaced business
- Strong commercial experience and ability to help in strategic decisions
- Excellent core accounting skills
- Advanced IT skills ideally with exposure to Power BI
- Ability to quickly establish credibility with nonfinancial stakeholders
