    Assistant Duty Manager

    To provide comprehensive clerical and reception services as part of the Women & Children's Divisional Team.

    Main Duties:

    • Provide administration support to the maternity department, adhering to booking and referral policies.
    • Work with clinical staff to deliver high standards of administrative support for patients and staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and respond to telephone calls from patients regarding appointment changes or cancellations.
    • Process booking requests from within the hospital and from patients.
    • Check clinic bookings for ad-hoc appointments and book transport and interpreters when required.
    • Attend trust meetings as necessary.
    • Perform other duties as required by the post holder's grade, experience, and job title.

    Skill Requirements:

    • Good computer skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to input data accurately.
    • Effective time management.
