Transport/ Logistics Planner

9am to 5.30pm

Office based in Exhall

We are recruiting for a client who is experiencing a huge period of growth, having gone from £2 million to £45 million turnover in recent years.

Our client is a leading E-commerce business and are looking to expand their planning team.

We are looking for an excellent leader who is able to motivate and communicate well with the team.

You will be a analytical thinker who is able to work under pressure while developing relationships with other - both internal and external.

Role:

Ensuring routes planned are cost effective and in suitable durations.
Planning routes for all over the UK
Attention to details while working under pressure.
Assist with un geo pinned orders and locate of Google or other web services and update accordingly.
Liaise with driver lead, customer services, warehouse to ensure all are aware of how many routes planned.
Review service delivery failures and produce incident reports when required.
Fully understand agreed KPI's for the transports department and strive to stay within these margins
Monitoring the care, maintenance and servicing of all vehicles in the vehicle fleet
Maintaining and updating all relevant systems as and when required.
Deal with insurance companies to deal with RTA and have resolutions.
Able to hold new driver interviews and enroll them onto peopleHR _(in Lead driver absence)_
RTW, disciplinaries to be conducted.

Pay:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
