Description

The Assistant Director of Digital Delivery will support the Director of Digital in providing sound technical leadership in all aspects of Digital Technology and Service Delivery to provide quality digital patient and support services.

They will develop the digital technology strategy and ensure alignment with business goals as well as focusing on discovering and implementing new technologies that deliver efficiencies and improved health care.


The Assistant Director of Digital Delivery will be a visible, intelligent and inspiring leader with a clear and compelling vision for the Health Board's Technology Strategy, including ICT services provision, technical transformation programmes, software development and delivery, and robust service management.


The Assistant Director of Digital Delivery will work collaboratively across the Health Board and wider health and care system, to proactively identify opportunities to share appropriate technologies across organisational boundaries, to support innovation by embedding in appropriate strategies and plans to deliver the organisation's longer-term strategic ambitions, supporting delivery of the Health Board's Integrated Medium Term Plans.
