Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Accrington

Continental Shift Pattern - 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights)

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running.

You will beinvolved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.

With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming teamof engineers.

The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.


Role Description

  • Maintenance and repairs on a range of industrial factory equipment
  • Electrical, Single, 3 phase motors, and PLCs
  • Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
  • Provide a multiskilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Carry out modifications and installations when required
  • Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintenance to an appropriate standard

Skills and Qualifications

  • An electrical qualification at NVQ, ONC/OND, or HNC/HND level
  • Experience in Heavy Industry / Manufacturing Environment


  • Modifications to PLCs

  • Ideally AB (preferred)
  • Good people skills and be able to communicate.
