An independent engineering and sustainability consultancy based in central London are looking for a Senior Energy Consultant to join their team.

The role

In this role you will mainly focus on the development of advanced energy models using IES Virtual Environment, including NABERS Design for Performance, CIBSE TM54 and LEED energy models using ApacheHVAC.

The role will also require other forms of energy modelling including, but not limited to, Part L, EPC, Thermal Comfort and Daylighting.

Projects will include both new build and refurbished schemes.

As part of your role, you will be leading the delivery of projects and helping to train and upskill the team in the use of advanced modelling techniques.

The role will require an in-depth technical knowledge of building physics in addition to exemplar interpersonal, organisational, presentation and management skills.

In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the development of the business through involvement in writing fee proposals, attending project interviews and fostering business relationships with both existing and new clients.
