Do you have a background in estate and property management and have a passion for sustainability and the environment?


This exciting new role will support the group by driving a new agenda around environmental and social governance, looking at sustainability in the organisation across a range of areas.


This role will have significant influence at a senior level on our approach to the green agenda and our corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Sustainability is a key part of our ongoing business strategy.

In order to deliver on our Net Zero ambitions, we are looking for a sustainability Manager
(backgrounds in Estate Management will be considered) with a strong focus on governance,to work with the Group Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Director co-ordinating the ESG requirements for the Group.


This is a new role and will provide an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to help us develop as we scale the level of activity in our business.
The role will include cross-functional involvement, providing expansive opportunities for professional growth.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Play a role in supporting our organisational transition to sustainability, by driving forward the net zero, environmental and the wider sustainability agenda internally, and with our suppliers and partners.
  • Help with the planning and execution of ESG strategies and initiatives across the organisation.
  • Help manage and coordinate our annual ESG disclosures (EcoVadis).
  • Provide a coordination role in working with suppliers/partners across all parts of our Group, ensuring coordinated delivery of our supply chain programme.
  • Develop effective relationships with our external consultants and solution providers who support us in the Group's sustainability agenda.
  • Develop effective relationships in the sustainability team and communications division and across the business, with colleagues who support us in the net zero and environmental agenda.
  • Ensure effective project management techniques are applied including implementation plans, risk controls and performance monitoring.
  • Analyse data to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Interpret information and prepare reports/presentations as required.
  • Attend/present to internal committees, project boards and external audiences as required.
  • Perform additional adhoc analysis and peer benchmarking and engage in special projects as needed.


To achieve success in the role you will need to have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to inspire trust, and organise multiple consecutive work projects.


Experience, Qualifications and Characteristics

  • Ideally 5 plus years working in an ESG role
  • A background in Estate Management will be considered
  • Ideally some experience in the sustainability sector/sustainability roles within business
  • Interest in environmental and social sustainability issues
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive momentum towards completing milestones.
  • Experience of working in a fastchanging area/environment.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, critical thinking skills.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to drive project execution, and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and work with limited direct guidance.

Hybrid Working Model: 1 day minimum in office/4 days working remotely.
