MORNING SHIFT


An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well established production company based in Exhall, Coventry.


The role will involve:

  • Assembly of metal train seats
  • Using various hand tools (drills, riveters, clamps, sanders etc)
  • Quality checking and flagging up faults and imperfections
  • Working in teams of 2 to ensure KPIs are met

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in assembly work
  • Good communication and English language skills


Some of the tasks can be very dusty (metal polishing) and appropriate PPE is available at all times (dust masks, aprons, overalls, safety glasses).


The role can be physical and dexterous as the majority of the tasks can put a lot of strain on hands and be quite repetitive.


Hours of work are
06:00 - 14:30 Monday to Thursday and 06:00 - 11:00 on Fridays.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
From £11.30 per hour
