What is Candlelight?:
- Candlelight concerts are a unique musical and sensorial experience created by the stunning ambience of candlelight. These concerts allow you to enjoy some of the most famous works of classical music in a completely new way and in various spectacular locations.
- The concerts highlight talent from upcoming talent to professional musicians
- Candlelight is now expanding beyond classical music into other genres that fit well within the experience such as jazz, soul, flamenco, opera, and more.
Lead City Coordinator to manage Fever Originals' flagship experience, Candlelight.
This position is freelance and part-time, with flexible hours, which may be extended or lead to permanent opportunities in the future.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Weekly Admin:
- Creating run sheets and guest lists and sending to relevant stakeholders
- Attend weekly meetings to update, review, action and implement important production details, event reviews and policy procedures
- Managing and updating weekly meeting notes
- Report and feedback issues and queries to managers
- Staffing and rota management
- Handling logístical issues with all relevant stakeholders
- Managing and updating expense records
- Managing and updating staff timesheet
- Managing and updating staff database
- Submitting and checking invoices
- Event listing monitoring
- Weekly tasks allocated by managers
General management:
- Main point of contact for all events assistants in your city team
- Relaying all vital information and procedures from Fever and managing the implementation of this
- Hiring, overseeing and managing staff
- Overseeing and managing production quality of events
- Quality control, ensuring high standards are being maintained across the board
- Managing events as event manager (_mandatory 40% _of all monthly events) (see EM specification)
- Providing photographs and feedback after each event
- Encouraging high performance and implementing improvements with individual team members and the entire team.
- Managing use and responsible for all Fever owned production materials
The Lead City Coordinator will be the main representative and key point of contact on the ground for their city.
Preferred skills and attributes are:
- 3+ years event management experience (preferred)
- Local knowledge of your city, its venues and vendors, and entertainment industry (preferred)
- Keen interest and passion in live music and delivering events (preferred)
- Sound engineering skills (desirable)
- Public speaking (desirable)
- Google Workspace literate (preferred, however, training is provided)
- Exceptional customer service (required)
- High organisational and time management skills (required)
- Highly competent in team/people management (required)
- Assertive and measured in a high pressure environment (required)
- Strong problem solving skills (required)
- Can do attitude (required)
- Flexible (required)
- Leading by example (required)
- Works well under pressure (required)
