Contracts Manager - £80,000 - £90,000 DOE + Benefits - Yarm (TS15 9AE)
**The Role

Are you an experienced and highly motivated experienced Contracts Manager who would love to join a reputable and ambitious business? If so, then this opportunity is one not to be missed.

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our growing team.

In this role, you will provide commercial and contracts strategic advice to the client and project management team on EPCM engineering projects particularly in the energy sector and in FEEDstage.

**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of a Contracts Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing the strategy throughout FEED stage to appoint key contracting organisations following the agreed procurement and tendering strategy.
  • Drafting of tender documentation, issuing enquiry packs, dealing with the tenderers' queries, tender appraisal and normalization.
  • Reporting and recommendations, liaison with client and project management teams.
  • Contract formation including drafting and liaison with legal teams as well as client and project management.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Contracts Manager are:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to details and talents for accuracy and precision.
  • Deep understanding of contracts, contracts governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications.
