Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting a Senior Finance Analyst / Business Partner for a highly profitable £300mil t/o FMCG company based near High-Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
The role
Working in a fast-paced Finance dept., this is a high-profile role positioned at the core of our client's operations, fostering a business partnering approach to provide financial insights and support to retail decision making.
The Senior Finance Analyst/ Business Partner will be key in driving process understanding, budgeting, forecasting, financial appraisal, and analysis and reporting; whilst building strong relationships with key stakeholders, highlighting opportunity and risk, and driving change.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partner; providing analytical support, investment appraisal, Revenue/cost/contribution analysis to drive fast and relevant decision making
- Prepare function specific reporting, KPI analysis, and insights into the key drivers of performance
- Build/maintain intuitive dashboards using Tableau/Alteryx; to promote automation & selfserve
- Produce qualitative and quantitative analysis including customer behavior, industry trends, competition, spatial analytics and staffing needs
- Interpret and understand complex data and translating this into value driven insight
- Represent analytics team, driving agenda through first class support, during budgeting/forecasting (including development of models) and month end meetings
- Gather and maintain accurate and uptodate records of data; and remain attuned to developments in the area
- Work to tight deadlines, delivering outstanding level of credibility; reliability; completeness and accuracy
About You:
- Qualified Analyst (CIMA, ACCA OR MBA) with demonstrable industry experience; vast proven analytical/dashboarding experience
- Ability to interpret and understand data, identify trends/and patterns
- Professional communication skills: ability to build strong relationships across broad level of stakeholders
- Strong planning, organising and time management skills, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines
