Description

We are seeking friendly and customer-oriented cocktail waiters and waitresses to join our team at Ennismore's 5-star St Martins Lane Hotel in Covent Garden

Set in the pulsating heart of London, you will be working at our hideaway lounge the ' Blind Spot', known for teleporting patrons to exotic places with its carefully crafted cocktails and ambient settings.

With a DJ spinning the decks on weekends, we ensure the fun never stops at our bustling venue.

Your main goal will be to create a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our customers by providing exceptional beverage service to our guests and ensuring their satisfaction.

About the role
This role does not require cocktail making - we leave that to our experts - you will

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the beverage selection
Upsell additional items, such as appetizers or desserts, to enhance the guest experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure their safety and wellbeing
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery

Shift pattern
Tue-Thu - 16:00-01:30

Fri-Sat - 16:00-02:30

Sun & Mon Off

About you

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members

Salary:
£11.00-£14.00 per hour
