The Transpennine Route Upgrade Project (TRU) is a circa £2 billion multi-disciplinary project upgrading the existing railway route between Manchester and Leeds through the Pennines.
Working on the TransPennine Route Upgrade from offices in Manchester and Huddersfield the purpose of this is to provide efficient document control services to aid in supporting the success of the business.
Your mission
Key Tasks:
- Ensure the security of all the information disseminated and stored in the systems. This also includes archiving and disposal of project information.
- Work with the project team, clients/employers and third parties to ensure comprehension of information requirements, and manage expectations and delivery.
- Compile and issue handover information specified in the client's Employers Information Requirements (EIRs) and managed in the project BEP
- Receive documents in data and electronic format.
- Establish and maintain computerbased document filing systems.
- Review and distribute documents in line with agreed departmental procedures.
- Maintain accurate computerbased records, logging distributed documents.
- Process responses to documents issued.
- Chase responses to documents issued where required.
- Administer requests for information.
- Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time.
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
The following are mandatory requirements:
- Successful experience working in a general administration support role or field of expertise.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of operating IT systems, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access and/or dedicated Electronic Document Management Systems such as ProjectWise, including deliverables management and Common Data Environments
- An understanding of Digital construction and document management
- Comprehension of working on large projects, Alliances and Frameworks
