Responsibilities:

GLBA is the Global Banking and Advisory division of SGCIB. It offers a global advisory approach focused on strategic dialogue with clients.

GLBA offers clients the whole range of services offered by SG CIB and the Group, with a particular focus on investment banking and commercial banking activities.

GLBA provides tailor-made solutions to corporate, financial institutions, the public sector and family offices.


Within GLBA, the mission of the Fund Financing Solutions (FFS) team, which is split between London and Paris, is to originate and execute strategic transactions such as capital call facilities (CCF), asset-backed lending (ABL) facilities and NAV facilities for, but not limited to, private equity and private debt sponsors.

The team is also responsible for secured funding transactions (in particular backed by structured finance loans such as commercial real estate loans), CMBS and CLO securitisation transactions.


Summary of the key purposes of the role:

  • The role is under supervision of a London-based senior member of the ABP/ABS/FFS team
  • Support origination and structuring of the FFS perimeter, with a strong focus on capital call facilities
  • Monitor existing transactions (including annual reviews, etc.)
  • Support commercial initiatives
  • Familiarise with all the FFS products, in particular capital call facilities and assetbacked lending facilities

Summary of responsabilities:


  • Production of various weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on the FFS financing portfolio
  • Assistance with the preparation of indicative term sheets and client pitches for the ABP/ABS/FFS products
  • Modeling of the transactions in internal tools
  • KYC process, rating renewals and various other tasks
  • Assistance with the due diligence streams in relation to new potential transactions
  • Working on various transversal topic, including ESG initiatives

Profile required:


  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
  • A previous experience in structured finance / corporate finance / investment banking would be appreciated
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, and ability to summarize key messages
  • Reliability as well as being rigourous and qualityoriented
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Cooperation and team spirit
  • Initiative and entrepreneurial skills
  • Ability to work in a fastmoving environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office: Word, Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of foreign languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is a plus
