Pentagon Transport are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Transport Coordinator who will assist the Transport Manager with the coordination of road shipments from start to finish, including quotation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing shipments from enquiry to completion
- Offering competitive pricing
- Billing clients
- Completing Pre-Alerts / advising customs clearance instructions
- Liaising with the warehouse regarding incoming/outgoing freight
- Booking transportation
- Updating customers
- Processing job files
- Load planning for European/Norway trailers
Experience and Knowledge:
- Previous experience in logistics/transportation planning
- Attention to detail
- Forward thinking
- Good communication skills
- A team player
- Good numerical skills
- Good IT Skills
