Description
LFUK are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their clients team in the Speke area.

The role will involve but is not limited to

  • Deliver an effective and efficient Sales Ledger and Credit Control function
  • Ensure the timely recovery of customer receipts
  • Ensure the timely and correct allocation of customer receipts
  • Effectively deal with customer queries and recover outstanding monies
  • Generate and send daily invoices and monthly statements/analyses (including bespoke statements) to customers
  • Recommend and monitor customer credit limits and payment terms (via Experian, Companies House records, trade ref etc)
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices via submission to several online portals (OB10, Ariba, Coupa etc)
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of credit/debit card transactions; and correctly reconcile receipts thereof; adhering strictly to antifraud measures
  • Monitor and allocate Sagepay and Paypal receipts via company website
  • Review and seek to improve the company's credit control systems and processes
  • Daily post opening and distribution
  • Perform adhoc administrative work and support the other functions within the business

Key Skills/requirements:


  • Time management & prioritisation of work during key periods
  • Able to take decisive action when needed but willing to pass to FD/colleague for second opinion
  • Maintaining good working relationships with other departments even when conflicts arise
  • Experienced Credit control
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Willing to take responsibility for own role and also get involved in other areas of the business when required.
  • Must be Highly motivated and able to work without direction and targets
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels both within and outside of the organisation
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually
  • Attention to detail.

£23,000 - £26,000 DOE

£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
