LFUK are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their clients team in the Speke area.The role will involve but is not limited to
- Deliver an effective and efficient Sales Ledger and Credit Control function
- Ensure the timely recovery of customer receipts
- Ensure the timely and correct allocation of customer receipts
- Effectively deal with customer queries and recover outstanding monies
- Generate and send daily invoices and monthly statements/analyses (including bespoke statements) to customers
- Recommend and monitor customer credit limits and payment terms (via Experian, Companies House records, trade ref etc)
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices via submission to several online portals (OB10, Ariba, Coupa etc)
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of credit/debit card transactions; and correctly reconcile receipts thereof; adhering strictly to antifraud measures
- Monitor and allocate Sagepay and Paypal receipts via company website
- Review and seek to improve the company's credit control systems and processes
- Daily post opening and distribution
- Perform adhoc administrative work and support the other functions within the business
Key Skills/requirements:
- Time management & prioritisation of work during key periods
- Able to take decisive action when needed but willing to pass to FD/colleague for second opinion
- Maintaining good working relationships with other departments even when conflicts arise
- Experienced Credit control
- Good communicator and team player
- Willing to take responsibility for own role and also get involved in other areas of the business when required.
- Must be Highly motivated and able to work without direction and targets
- Good communication skills
- Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels both within and outside of the organisation
- High level of personal integrity
- Ability to work both in a team and individually
- Attention to detail.
£23,000 - £26,000 DOE
