About the role


We're seeking a Credit Control and Customer Service Assistant to join our friendly, highly experienced team based in Wilmslow, Cheshire on a full-time basis.

The Credit Control and Customer Service Assistant role would suit a professional with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

This role also involves building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, so great interpersonal skills are crucial. Full training in the role will be provided.


Key duties include:


  • Managing and posting payments.
  • Management of inlife deals.
  • Direct debit control and collections.
  • Broker buyback management or sale to customer at end of term.
  • Credit Control.
  • Managing the arrears portal.
  • Assisting with legal procedures, from insolvency to claims processes.
  • Develop knowledge of legal tools used in the collection of finance agreements.
  • Ensure that administration is in line with regulatory requirements and company expectations.
  • Ensure all business is conducted in line with regulatory requirements and company expectations.

Who we are looking for

  • Customer service focused and an excellent communicator.
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication.
  • Proactive team player who is willing to learn.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Trustworthy and diligent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude and resilient.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working in the financial services sector is desirable but not essential.
