Senior Finance Officer, Full-time, Office based
An opportunity to join the Finance team at Sharp Europe's UK manufacturing base in Llay, Wrexham. Sharp has been producing high quality products in Llay for over 35 years.

Sharp Europe is part of Sharp Corporation, a global technology company employing over 46,000 people worldwide, and an expert in both business to business and business to consumer innovation.

The role

Assist with preparing standard month end reporting and year end accounts
Liaise with auditors
Assist with the production of presentations for budget planning discussions with head office
Assist in cost centre analysis and identify cost saving initiatives
Finance projects including overseeing process developments and organisational improvements
Assist with VAT and duty reporting
Ensure all policies and processes are documented and up to date
Report on monthly and quarterly financials and communicate results to senior management and international head office
Supporting the team when required

Requirements:

Previous experience working in manufacturing environment and with experience of international trade
AAT Accounting qualification
Ability to manipulate large sets of data, standardise information received from several sources/formats and a good knowledge of standard formula, functions, pivot tables and produce graphs and charts
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communicator
Ability to prioritise tasks while working to tight deadlines
High accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent time organisation
SAP experience would be advantageous
