WHAT TO EXPECT


This role will contribute to the planning, control and delivery of all new model launch activities for Jaguar Land Rover vehicle lines supporting the planning and management of Plant Quality Launch activity from Online through to OTA including Build, Batch and Hold activities.

Working closely with the Launch Manufacturing team, this role will contribute to ensuring value for money is achieved recognising the safety, quality and delivery objectives.

The role will give you first-hand experience of managing a diverse group of coaches, in an Agile structure, as well as experiences of different facilities and departments.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate the team of Launch Quality associates, assigning tasks to individuals, and ensuring deadlines are achieved.

Working in an Agile environment as a Squad lead using tools such as Jira engaging the wider team to collectively work together.

Ensure that all relevant WES relating to the programme are generated and concurred by the core Plant Quality Team
Generate and enact training plans for the Plant Quality inspection teams on new models and new MY content.
Lead the Torque study and Torque Overcheck teams to complete Priority and TPPS studies ahead of Job 1 in line with JLRQOS 030

Ensure that all Quality related issues identified by SIP and OTA team are fed back to the relevant owners ensuring that containment and resolution plans are in place through the appropriate Agile Forums - Stand ups, Scrum of scrums & Showcases.

Investigate quality issues, using problem solving techniques.
Plan and track all Quality attribute testing of launch vehicles.
Present out Launch Quality Status and associated timing plans at Senior reviews.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience


Essential:

Have a good understanding of PCDS.
Have a detailed understanding of SPC and Capability Analysis
Computer literate including Microsoft Office
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience of leading large teams
Ability to work in fast paced environment and to tight deadlines.
Good verbal and written communications
