Our children are not always able to express it plainly, but you're an expert - you know it's there. And, anyway, gratitude isn't the reason you got into Speech & Language Therapy. To you, one single communication breakthrough is worth a thousand thank you's.

It's exactly that kind of selfless, professionalism attitude that makes us so excited to talk to you, here at Witherslack Group, as we grow our therapeutic team.

The role

That means working closely with each individual to devise a fully personalised care plan. By building a good rapport, you'll deliver effective counselling and feedback on progress.

Your colleagues will be looking to you to provide high quality reports on all developments, and it's important you keep them, authorities and external professionals well informed.

You'll also be very happy to provide advice, support and training where needed internally.

There's no doubt that you'll be dealing with some challenging behaviour. What's more, each child's requirements are constantly evolving. You must therefore be flexible, calm, resilient and patient.

In return you will find this to be a highly rewarding role and when you see a child progress, all the hard work will have been worth it.

Be the Therapist you always wanted to be
