Role Profile


Cast UK are supporting a FTSE100 business with the recruitment process of a HR Advisor, to be based out of the West Midlands.

The role itself will report to the Senior HR Manager and will include occasional travel to different sites within the network across the South.

You will be required to deal with a various HR queries across the business.


This role will be ideal for someone who is looking to further develop themselves as a HR professional, as the business themselves can offer consistent training to improve your skills and are even able to provide funding for qualifications i.e CIPD Level 5/7.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal with various HR queries throughout the business
  • Review and update job descriptions
  • Advise managers on recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants.
  • Provide advice and play a major role in work reviews and change processes.
  • Use HR information systems to access, input and compile data.
  • Identify development needs.
  • Manage staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations.
  • Support the HR team with all elements of Employee Relations work, including note taking, providing advice for line and managers and letter writing.
  • Assist in organising employer branding initiatives.
  • Act as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees, and other HR team members.
  • To work with the HR team to support all elements of the employee lifecycle.
  • Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties'.

Skills & Experience Required

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification
  • Proven HR expertise at an operational level, preferably within a warehouse and distribution environment.
  • Proven experience in leading meetings such as disciplinaries, grievances etc
  • Experience of working within the local community to improve the sustainability around the area
  • Willingness to monitor and manage your own time to ensure daily objectives are met
  • Full UK driving license
