Description
Support the production of monthly reports to analyse the data and produce information on key themes and trends.- Ensure that communications reach a diverse audience and a wide range of local stakeholders, to support the development of publicity materials to target communities who are underrepresented.
- To signpost the public to appropriate health, social care, and advocacy services on request, and maintain an up to date database of information resources.
- To provide support to the Healthwatch Rotherham team, by arranging meetings, outreach sessions, booking rooms, preparing the papers, completing data input of surveys, transcribing focus groups, and updating the monthly action log.
- To provide (web based) support to all team members, completing administrative tasks as appropriate, to include photocopying, scanning, filing, and preparing agendas and minutes for meetings.
- Assisting the Healthwatch team in the organisation of public events and public consultation meetings, exhibitions, and conferences across Rotherham, targeting different sections of the community.
- Ensuring secure data management and record keeping of Healthwatch information.
- Undertaking such other duties as consistent with the purpose and level of this post as may from time to time reasonably be required by your line manager.
Other duties:
- To contribute to the Healthwatch team and collaborative working with Citizens Advice Rotherham & District (CARD) by participating in staff meetings, away days and other events as necessary.
- To work with and support the training of Healthwatch volunteers as appropriate.
- To support your colleagues to manage day to day priorities within a cohesive team environment.
Professional Development:
- To stay up to date with local, regional and national policy and strategy relating to health and social care.
- To attend training courses as agreed with, or determined by, the Healthwatch Rotherham Manager.
- Complete core training set by the Training team at CARD.
Person specification
- Experience of seeking out, building, supporting and maintaining networks of groups, organisations, and individuals with shared interests, and gathering feedback and intelligence.
- Experience in customer service, delivering information, and signposting services in a community setting.
- Experience being involved in community events, public meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- Experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload.
- You will need to be IT literate and be proficient in Google suite, Google docs, Gmail, Google sheets, and other IT systems, and have appropriate IT equipment to use working from home.
- To be able to communicate effectively, be articulate, with strong writing skills and the ability to feedback accurately.
- The ability to work equally well in a team and independently unsupervised.
- An enthusiastic and creative approach to community involvement and empowerment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a range of people, using varying methods of communication.

£22,250.00-£24,054.00 per year
