Two opportunities have arisen for you to join our Inpatient Therapy Rehabilitation team.


We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Therapy assistants to work with the team to assess, treat and complete referrals for a wide variety of patients.


These roles will be working with the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams in our Community Hospitals, at Harwich and Clacton.

Post hours per week (Ideally Wednesday - Friday) This is a permanent position, predominantly based at Clacton Hospital

Post hours per week. This is a fixed term post for approx. 9 months, predominantly based at Harwich Hospital.


You should have experience of working in rehabilitation ideally within an NHS setting, be enthusiastic and keen to work with the Therapies team to provide an excellent service.

You will need to have good communication and organisation skills, be a team worker and able to use your own initiative.


Ideally you will be educated to Foundation degree/ level 5 Qualification in Healthcare / Sport and Exercise Science or similar.


You will be supported by qualified therapists, working within a competency framework and will be given all necessary training for the job.

You will manage your own workload and participate in team and service development.

You will be expected to work weekends, approximately 1 in 5, as part of our 7 day service.
