Location:
Winchester, remote/hybrid working available


Contract:
Permanent, Fulltime (part-time working available, just let us know)

Salary:
Up to £30k
+ 26 days of annual leave + Benefits


Responsibilities


As an Environmental Advisor, you'll be working with the Environmental Manager on all aspects on environmental management and sustainability across the South East region on its Maintenance & Response contracts.

You'll assist with ensuring colleagues are compliant with Kier processes and procedures, undertake environmental audits and deliver training when required.


Your day to day will include:

  • Assist with environmental assessment work, field surveys and mitigation design for legally protected sites, habitats or species
  • Assist with the collection of carbon data from subcontractors to form quarterly carbon report to the client
  • Liaison with all other teams to ensure environmental issues are taken into account during all aspects of work
  • Support and assist with meetings all Kier sustainability targets

Who are we looking for?
This role of Environmental Advisor is great for you if you have:

  • Relevant degree and related experience environmental management and ecology
  • Relevant experience in a Highways/Construction environment and a membership of IEMA or equivalent organisation
  • IT, numeracy and literacy skills and able to operate spreadsheet systems, input extract and present complex data to communicate with others
