Description

Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed start-up seeking to revolutionise the cellular bioproduction sector by building, testing & developing cutting edge machines.

The aim of the business is to create scalable, fully automated systems by re-designingthe process of mammalian cell culture in a bioproduction/ manufacturing environment.

Doing this will allow novel products in the cultivated meat & next gen therapeutics sector to enter mass market efficiently and economically.

BEng/MEng (Mechanical, Bioengineering, Aerospace, EEE etc) or equivalent
5+ years' experience
Prior experience developing electromechanical devices from specifications to manufactured product
CAD (SolidWorks preferable)
Rapid prototyping skills (3D printing, thermoforming, CNC machining)
Ability to communicate across multiple disciplines; biologists, engineers, suppliers, consultants etc.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (Jira, Confluence, Notion)
Beneficial but not essential: programming (C++, python, git), electronic design, cell culture experience

You will join a close knit and collaborative team of R&D scientists who value quality but are not afraid to get "stuck in" and solve hands on technical issues.
